Before you start applying, read the rules that you will find below the application form and prepare:

– photos of works: jpeg or png files, max 1 MB. Attach to the application 3 examples of art works that you would like to present at the exhibition. The number of art works for the exhibition will be determined after qualifying for the exhibition, depending on the type and size of art works.

– signatures for each art work you want to submit: Artist’s name, title of work, technique, size, price,

– an artist´s statement or BIO in a doc or pdf file,

Vernissage: April 21, 6:30 p.m

Exhibition: April 22-26, 12:00-18:00.

Exhibition rules:

§ 1
Introduction to terminology:

1. Organizer: Royal B AB owner of the Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery.
2. Curator of the Exhibition: Magdalena Nilsson
3. Gallery: Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery, LM Ericssons Väg 1, 12636 Hägersten
4. Applicant: a person who has sent their application to participate in the Exhibition.
5. Participant: a person qualified to participate in the Exhibition.
6. Art works: painting, sculpture, graphics, crafts, design, etc.
7. Exhibition – an event with specific conditions related to this application.
8. Submitting the application is free of charge. The cost of participation in the exhibition is 500 SEK incl. VAT.

§ 2
Exhibition conditions and dates:

1. Sending an application is not tantamount to qualifying for the Exhibition. We care about the quality and artistic diversity, and the exhibition space is limited, therefore we reserve the right to select Participants and Art works.

2. The Art works attached to the application are examples of the Applicant’s Art works. The number of Art works that will be presented at the Exhibition depends on the medium and size. For this type of exhibitions, we recommend smaller sizes Art works at affordable prices, but this is not a condition.

3. Applications will be closed by April 9th and emails confirming Participation will be sent no later than April 11th.

4. After qualifying for the Exhibition:
– Participant will receive an e-mail with detailed information and payment link. In addition, we ask the Participant to send: invoice data, a photo of the artist’s image, a short BIO up to 300 characters for marketing and promotional purposes.
– we will contact the Participant to discuss the number and sizes of Artworks presented and ask for a list of all established Artworks with descriptions: Name, title, technique, size, price (if Artworks are for sale).
– we will ask you to generate and send us a signed QR Code for Swish to be printed on the artist’s information note. code size 3-5cm.

5. Art works should be delivered to the gallery on April 20 between 12.00-18.00 or on April 21 between 10.00-12.00. Delivered art works must be signed on the back and ready to hang (equipped with hooks, links on the back) or ready for another presentation.

6. Assembly of the Exhibition is with the Participants on April 21, 10.00-18.00. In the event of the Participant’s absence during the assembly of the exhibition, the Participant obligatorily accepts the form, place of presentation and the solutions used unquestionably.

7. Exhibition opening: April 21, 2023, 18.30. During vernissage, the Participants will be officially presented with Certificates of Participation in the project. Participants absent during vernissage may collect the Certificate on any other day of the exhibition or when collecting Art works at the end of the Exhibition.

8. The Participant should be prepared to provide additional Art Works during the Exhibition in place of the sold ones.

9. The date of receipt of art works will be determined soon. No earlier than the last day of the show.

10. The exhibition has a curatorial character, therefore the presence of Participants is expected / not necessary during the Konstrunda on April 22-23 from 12.00-16.00. On the other days, the exhibition is supervised by the curator: Magdalena Nilsson.

11. In this Project, the Organizer does not charge a sales commission. Customers pay directly to the artist via SWISH, for example.

12. Each participant of the exhibition will receive a special Certificate and a discount package regarding the gallery’s offer.

13 Each participant is obliged to symbolically engage in organizing refreshments for guests during Konstrunda, e.g. wine, sweets, juices, coffee. We’ll work out the details together.

§ 3

Gallery equipment:
– professional suspension systems for paintings
– professional, adjustable gallery lighting
– countertops and display tables
– TV 50″ in the main window of the gallery – presentation of digital Art works, e.g. photos and videos as well as graphic / information presentations from a flash drive
– possible additional 32″ TV – for Art works intended for this type of presentation (laptop or tablet required as a source of the presented material)
– a projector with a loudspeaker – for Art works intended for this type of presentation
– Wi-Fi
– music speaker – official background music with free copyrights or for your own recordings.
– coffee maker, kettle, soda stream.
– Prosecco glasses, water glasses, porcelain coffee service / for 24 people
– bowls, vases, trays
– refrigerator
– basic set of tools

§ 4
Security:

1. The organizer has valid gallery insurance and exhibition insurance at gefvert.se. The responsibility of the Organizer is at the level of insurance, the amount of the “Reduction” is on the side of the Participant who suffered a possible loss.

2. The gallery is equipped with the VERISURE monitoring system.

§ 5

Final arrangements:

1. The participant will receive a refund if he submits his resignation by e-mail no later than 14 days before the start of the exhibition.

2. The Organizer reserves the right not to change the promotional or marketing content created before the Participant’s resignation, containing the Participant’s name, if it will involve costs or any loss for other Participants or the Organizer, such as withdrawing the advertisement from printing or payment for changes in the design and/or production of new materials.

3. In the event of unforeseeable situations, when the exhibition is canceled due to the Organizer’s fault, the Organizer declares to return the fee to the Participants. In such a situation, Participants are not entitled to any compensation.
